Cushioned couplers use an energy-absorbing insert to absorb the shock when cars are coupled. Our cushioned couplers utilize a high-durometer synthetic rubber insert that stays in place. There are no springs that have a tendency to fall out. The couplers are made from cast steel for high strength and long life.
